The International Zheng He Society is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered in Singapore in 2003. It was founded by Dr. Tan Ta Sen and Dr. Leo Suryadinata. The current president, Dr. Zhang Lu, is a Singaporean writer and an expert on the Maritime Silk Road. The Society brings together scholars and leaders in the finance and technology sectors, fostering cooperation in the development and preservation of Silk Road cultural heritage.
国际郑和学会是2003年注册于新加坡的非政府NGO组织，由陈达生博士和廖建裕博士创立，现任会长张露博士是新加坡作家及海丝专家。有来自世界各地的资深学者，及众多金融、高科技及投资的企业家和精英，聚焦丝路建设与文化遗产等合作。
EVENTS 活动
2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Singapore’s founding, the 35th anniversary of China–Singapore diplomatic relations, and the 620th anniversary of Zheng He’s maritime expeditions. At this new juncture for Asia-Pacific cultural and economic cooperation, the legacy of the Tang dynasty shipwreck “Black Stone,” embodying the seeds of multicultural exchange, and the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and cooperation championed by Zheng He, provide powerful inspiration. Celebrating and promoting the spirit of the Maritime Silk Road and Zheng He's global trade vision holds profound significance for advancing multilateral cultural and trade exchange in the Asia-Pacific region. From 25 to 27 September 2025, the “Inaugural Pan-Pacific Silk Road Cultural & Tourism Summit and Zheng He 620th Anniversary Gala Dinner” will be grandly held at Pan Pacific Singapore and Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
